Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Porbandar is part of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, a national network of fully residential schools established by the Government of India to provide quality modern education, including a strong component of culture and inculcation of values, to talented children predominantly from rural areas, without regard to their families’ socio-economic condition.

The school is located on NH 8B near Dharampur Patiya in Village Vanana, district Porbandar. Education is entirely free, including boarding, lodging and uniforms, and admission is through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test conducted for Class VI.
