Shree J.N. Ruparel Swaminarayan Institute of Management & IT (SSIM), founded in 2010, is described as the first dedicated MBA institute in Porbandar district. It operates within the Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul campus on Chhaya Main Road, Porbandar — a Gurukul originally established in 1978 with a mission of holistic, values-based education.
The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad, offering a full-time MBA with specialisations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, International Business, Operations and Information Technology, alongside undergraduate BBA and B.Com programmes.
