Ramba Government Teachers College (R.G.T. College)
Ramba Government Teachers College, commonly known as R.G.T. College, is a government-run teacher training institute on Birla Road, opposite the Bird Sanctuary in Porbandar, near Coast Guard DHQ-I and Birla Factory. It offers the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and is affiliated to Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University (BKNMU), which oversees higher education across the Junagadh, Porbandar, Gir Somnath and Devbhumi Dwarka districts.
The same campus also houses the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Porbandar, which trains primary school teachers for the district — making the RGT College campus a hub for teacher education in the region.
